Create a Calendar, allow for date field to contain a value

I've searched through the forum for some examples on how to create a Calendar. I've found some great sample databases with Calendar features, however, I didn't find one that would enable a user to type a message into the date box.

Is there a feature to do such a thing? Or is it just going to be way too much work to build a calendar with such features?

I kind of have an idea to create a month, but it would involve having a different text box for every single day and lots of Form Design work. Then I would have to create a different table for every month.

why would you want to do this? and no, a table for every month is not a good idea. there are a ton of calendar examples out on the web sir.

for example, the attached is a pretty darn good looking calendar...IMO.

Personally, I think it would be pretty neat to have a Calendar that you can add events too whatever day.
