Add new record button in navigation form

Ok, I didn't realize this was a problem. I created a form (FormA), and then I created a navigation for with vertical tabs. The problem is that the button (add new record) on the original form isn't working. I know why, but its not clear to me how to fix it. I checked to make sure that the main navigation form allows edits.
