Expression Builder won't accept change in value

I am trying to change the value in this expression to accept the current year. When I click OK, no change results in the expression. I do not get an error message. I thought it might be a limitation on my account so I asked my boss to try it, but she had the same result.





Do I need to get my account authorized somewhere in order to make this change? Or is there another problem?

You have the field's data type defined as (short) text and yet you try to validate against numbers; change the data type to Number (long) and try again.
