    Sub Report Populating Main Report.

A form that has four calculated text boxes which I believe cannot be summed for the footer totals. So I have created a sub report bound to a query with all the totals. I will make the sub Report not visible and would like to populate the totals in the footer of the main report on load or some other function as i do not want the operator to click a button. Sounds easy but I have not done it before.

I'll appreciate any suggestions or thoughts

    Why can't they be summed?

You should still be able to sum textboxes that are in the detail section and show the total in the footer section.

I have found the solution which is as follows: =[Sub1].[Report].[txtTotal] as control source in my total text box.
Does exactly what I was looking for.

Thanks for your time and suggestions
