    So I think the logic I tried to show you in my sample can be easily modified to fit what you are now describing. Instead of having four "drop-downs" (combos) I suggested to use one option group and one combo and dynamically change the combo's row source depending on the value of the option group. Now to open the form you can use the OpenArgs method suggested by June or simply refer to the option group value (assumes the "launching form" is kept open).



    Here is another sample to illustrate that.

    Hey Gicu,
    that looks like what I am trying to do. I am trying to piece it together now and will try to do a test run of it early next week.

    Main difference for me is that I need the 4 dropdown boxes for user selection of different criteria. I could then use the radio button instead of 4 different buttons.

    Please look closer at the design, you do not need 4 dropdown boxes, you need to modify the row source of the only one you should have (you can even change the label caption, please see the updated file).
