    Naming a Calculated Field

The Control Source for a calculated field on a report is =SUM(expresson). Can you apply a name to the field (like you would in a query) and use that name in another field?

I see that there is a Name property for the object, but I have not been able to use it for additional calculations.

How are you trying to reference the control in another control?

    Solution Found

I thought I was using square brackets just like you would in a query. I ended up using the expression builder (something I rarely find useful) which created the same code that I had hand coded and it workd.
