Added field to form now all calculated fields don't work

I have a very strange issue. I have a form with a subform on it. In the subform page footer I have an unbound field, [CountRailcars], with the formula =Count(RailcarID) an this counts the number of railcars. Then in the parent form I have another field, [F_NumberOfRailcars], and it has the formula =([f_Invoicing_Detail].[Form]![CountRailcars]). I have two more fields that are like that but sum up revenue figures.

Everything was working fine. Then I added a new unbound field to the detail section of the subform and all of the calculated fields stopped working.

The calculated fields all now show #Error. I did not change any field names or values, just added a new field with a new name.

Any Idea what could be causing this?

Also, I have a backup from a couple of weeks ago and when I open it the calculated fields are there, they are the same, but they work. I added a new field to the detail of that form and it did not cause any problems. I dont want to have to go back to the backup because if I dont have to.

Maybe related, probably not, but shouldn't the totals be in the form footer instead of the page footer?

So the first thing I would try is remove that control?

yeah, I already tried removing the field, compacting the db, all kind of stuff. It is very weird but I did end up having to go back to a backup since nothing else worked. Even new fields that I would add could not do any counts or sums.

Lesson to everyone, keep lots of backups.
