    Strange Behavior

This might not be a fair question to post to the forum, but thought perhaps someone else might have seen this before. Anyway, when I OPEN a table to view its content, I'm greeted with the popup shown below:

There "USED" to be a field named "CtlgNo" in the table, but it was removed during the course of normalizing a very old app. With the added normalization, the provision of the required data is returned with the following query:

Is there a object search tool in Access beyond exhaustive examination of the app's queries and "Find" searches throughout all the app's code modules?

Access does not have object search utility. This requires third-party add-in. I used Rick Fisher's Find and Replace but that may no longer be available and it cost about $50.

Another popular and reliable (so I've read, never used it) utility is V-Tools and it's free. https://www.skrol29.com/us/vtools.php

    Another possibility https://www.devhut.net/2017/03/31/gr...d-and-replace/

Shot in the dark, but try refreshing the linked table, or relinking it.

    or relinking it
THAT's what I didn't think to do! Your thought stirred me beyond what I had tried earlier with re-linking. It turns out I actually had to delete the link and then link anew.

    Thanks Paul
