424 Object Required runtime error generated within vba module

So why did it not fail on line 36?
Set CATSDailydb = CurrentDb()

Indeed, that's quite odd.
I never got the 424 error, nor could I get the function to perform properly because table "tbl - CATS Activity" is empty, causing other errors.
Hard to tell if the problem described actually occurred with the code posted.
