    Switchboard Manager

Hi, I am trying to use the switchboard manager and didn't have any issues until i opened the form it created. I noticed its a continuous form. When I switch to design view, it only shows one button even though i created 2 in the manager. When i switch back to Form view they are both there. I noticed that when i move the footer bar to enlarge the detail area it moves the second button in form view further down. Is there a better way of being able to edit and customize the form? Seems pretty restrictive. Would I be better off just creating my own form that had two buttons that worked the way I want so I can create the form design my way? Appreciate the insight.

    Wes

FWIW I've never used the switchboard manager. I've always created my own switchboard form.
If this helped, please click the star at the bottom left of this posting and add to my reputation . Many thanks.

That is how Continuous forms work?

Other than getting incorrect headers now and again, I have not had a any problems with them, though I have pretty much used as is, just added user levels to the options.

The options should be set using the SwitchBoard Manager, not editing the form?

The form is dynamic depending on the records in the SwitchBoard Items table?

    Hi

I agree with Bob. Best to create your own switchboard from scratch.
You can PM me if you need further help.

Here is something a very experienced Access developer created.
Still works in the same way though?
