    Can't add record

I got a form. The record source is a query set up through the record source property. Everything was fine and I was making some improvements and then all of the sudden I noticed that I could not add new records. All of the properties that I'm aware of are set correctly. Allow additions, deletions, edits and such are all set to yes. Recordset type is dynaset. Data entry is set to No but even when set to yes, I have the same results. It just shows the records with no add new button enabled and no way to add. I'm confused. Strange because it was working but then wasn't. Obviously something I did. But everything I can think of I un-did to see if that was it but still nothing. I guess I could recreate it. It's not super complex. But I'd like to know why it happened. Are there any other properties I should be looking at? I'm kind of new...again.

    Thanks
    Lefty

    Are there any error messages?
As Steve says --post a copy of the database so we can see the issue in context.

It's not hard to change a Select query to a Totals query, then undo it all and forget to unselect that little Sigma button on the ribbon! Glad to have helped.

Good to know, thanks. AB is an Access god (small g) in a lot of people's eyes. Lots there at his site that you can learn from.
