Text box on form question

I have a form that contains records with a new record created every month. I want to create a text box with typed information that will keep this information as a default while other text boxes contain new data added each month on a new record.



A label won't work because this form is used to create new records that in turn relate to a series of other records. It seems I need to be able to create a default text box with data for the first record and will remain in place for each new record.

Sorry if this explanation is not clear, not sure how else to word it.

So you need a "default" value for one of your fields, right? The "default" value can be overridden by the user.
