Suggestion regarding designing a database for pharmaceutical lab reports

Hi
I am a little stuck at designing a database for pharmaceutical industry's lab reports. a pharma requires a database for reporting and keeping record for their certificate of analysis which looks something like the picture (from internet) given below

The report consist of a product/medicine batch details and the test result against the standards. There are number of products and existing number may grow in future. The problem is, every single medicine has its own set of tests and the standard value of each product is also different. I plan to create two basic table
1. Batch Detail table .. which include details of a batch including Product foreign key


2. Product detail table.. which include basic details of each product
problem I am facing to design the tables where I can save the type of tests against their standards for each medicine/Product and the results for every batch so I can query them to generate the final report.
I am from Non-computer/programming background and have very basic knowledge of MS access and databases. Is there any efficient way to accomplish the task .Hope you understand my question/Problem and any sort of help is cordially appreciated
