    Multi ID field

    Hello All,

I'm new in the forum, so I hope you may forgive I broke the forum netiquette.
I'm going crazy creating a database and I'm here to ask for your help.
    I have to Table.
The main table with ID and Cities_ID fields
The second table Cities with ID and City fields.
Now I need to associate to the cities_ID a variable number of ID related to the cities names, how i can create this in access, my idea is that Cities_ID is a string containing every choosen ID separated by symbol like":".
Can you help me on this?
    Thank you so much,
    Regards,
    Riccardo

    ???Hmmmm???
What is the purpose of your proposed database? In simple, plain English.
What exactly would relate one of your tables to the other?
Good luck and welcome to the forum.
