Well if you're happy then so am I. Not that I get the comment about a number key being less than 2 but then it doesn't matter I guess.

I also thought of minimizing the form then restoring it after the selection was made, but I'd still go with what is simplest, and that seems to be what you ended up with. To size/resize forms might require turning off screen updating at some point in order to prevent unwanted visual effects, which can be risky and might end up staying off. Besides, you have a tabbed form there, and I don't think they can be sized. You'd need to use individual windows and not tabbed forms, or at least make this one form a popup. I tried it and it doesn't look too bad, but it all depends on what you think of a form that pops up and down from/to the bottom of the db window.
