    Unrecognized database format on backend


    Hello everyone!

    Do you know if the changing of the recordsource behind a form could cause corruption in the backend?

    I suppose you mean with VBA. I do that a lot with no ill effects. Side benefit, you don't need to requery the form.

    Yes with VBA, in certain circumstances the recordsource needs to change to a query and then back again. I just want to be sure this doesn't increase the risk of corruption. Thanks for the reply!
