Showing account balance (sum of Transactions) in a form

About to lose my mind, I know I should be able to get this one.

I have tblTransactions and it has all the data about the transactions including the amounts.

Then I have frmTransactionList its pretty and is shows me all my transactions.

In the header of the form I would like to show the account balance, or sum of all transactions.

or if the form allows you to select an account

=DSum("TranAmt","tblTransactions","Acct_FK=" & Acct_PK)

This may or may not fit your situation. Not much to go on from your post.
