Inserting an image into a form

Hi guys. First I'll say I'm not tech minded (as you'll soon see), and have just learned some of the basics of Access.
I've created a Table of products and a Product Form.
I want to include an image of each product on the respective Product Form.
I have created a field in the table called ImagePreview, set it to short text, and ensured it's 'linked' in properties.
I inserted an Image box into the form, linked to the ImagePreview field.
When I entered the file path into the ImagePreview field (to a c:\ Dropbox file - with backslashes) remembering to put .jpg on the end, my image displayed very nicely. I was pretty pleased with myself....... but, the image then does not display on other PCs on the same network.
So, I figure maybe this needs to be an image that's out there in the cloud somewhere and I load my image up to Image Shack. I repeat the process, but notice this time the file path shows forward slashes. Access doesn't display the image. I'm wondering doesn't Access like forward slashes or something?
Any advice would be appreciated - as you can tell - I need it!!!!

Tell us a little about the database and the other PCs on the network in simple terms.
See this video by Richard Rost for image on a form.

The simple explanation is that the product images need to be stored in a network folder (not on your own hard-drive as in your first attempt) that is accessible to all the users. Usually to make it easier you should use UNC paths (\\server\.....\MyProductPics) instead of mapped drives if the mapping is different for each user. Access will not work with web URLs, the file needs to be on a Windows network.
