One to Many Query - Adding a "Many"

    Best strategy to create this?

This project has a list of open Purchase orders, and the ability to add comments to each order when we hear from the vendor. I have an OpenPO database, which gets re-imported frequently and a comments database that will stay in the system.

I was thinking of a one-to-many relationship query, but that doesn't allow me to edit or add the comments database.
The Query would be ideal because I can scroll down and see all the comments. They previously used excel and would insert a line for each comment.

The form-subform would work, but I have to select the PO from a list before seeing the comments.

Any Ideas on the best way to do this?

    PO date Comment
    1234 5/1 Comment1
    ..............Comment2
    ..............Comment3
    1235 5/1 Comment1
    ..............Comment2
    ..............comment3

    Thank you!

No, should be able to edit comments in query. Adding a new comment record might be an issue. Users should not work directly with tables and queries.
What's wrong with form/subform where you must located existing record to view its related info? Review http://allenbrowne.com/ser-62.html
