Question Table Design for Query Function

I'm creating a database for our QA department.

So far I have 1 table with EmployeeID as the PK
The rest of the table consists of LastName, FirstName and then a whole list of certifications an employee might have.

The data type for the certifications will be a shortdate, as if to say this is the date they have been certified by the company.

Every 180 days the employee has to be audited for each certification.

An example of a certification field name would be RT1.

My question is how should I set up my table structure in order to create a query that will show employees that will be due for an audit 60 days before their actual due date?

    Any suggestions?

2nd question is how do I set the criteria in the query?
