    Work Tracker

    Good morning,

I am new to Access and just getting started. I am trying to make a Work Tracker Database. I have 2 questions on how I can make this happen.

    1. The way work tracker works, employee gets the work load and make an entry. Some of those work need supervisor approval. How can I make a query/form for the supervisor when employee check "Approval Required" check box when doing the entry from "Work Tracker Entry" form those work load show on "Ready for Approval" query/form for the supervisor and once he approves it and change the status from "Pending" to "Completed" it disappear from "Ready for Approval" form.

    2. There will be "Received On", "Completed On" and "Procurement Days" field on the table. I will make a query where Supervisor can generate the report. How can I calculate the days that took to complete the job on the query? Received On - Completed On = Procurement Days

Thank you for the help in advance

    Regards,

    Sid

Check the Similar Threads area at the bottom of the page for ideas.
See the Database Planning and Design link in my signature for additional info.
I recommend that you work through 1 or 2 of the tutorials from RogersAccesssLibrary mentioned in that link.
You may find a database template at this site.

    Good luck.
