Good morning.
Just working on report and I can't figure out how to add a page break. I tried inserting one but it doesn't work. Maybe it's the report design or something.
In the report I'd like the different bins to be on separate pages.
Thanks.

add a visible BIN FOOTER,
then drop a page break inside this band.
Or use the ForceNewPage property:https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/off...n.forcenewpage
Cheers,
Thanks for the feedback.
The footer option seems best for me but I can't figure out how to add it as you suggest. I can add/delete page or report footer but not a bin # footer. What am I missing?
On the Design ribbon click the Group And Sort then on the bottom clcik the Bin group and select With Footer.
Cheers,
Thanks.
This is what I have and still not working - I must be missing something...
Remove the page breaks you added into the bin footer and page footer then select (click) the bin footer and in the properties box look for Force New Page and select After. Clean up the sections (no need for any space to show in the bin footer or above the Now textbox in the page footer).
Cheers,
Vlad
I think I got all that right, but no change.
Can you upload a small db sample with the report in question a a few "dummy" records? Looks good otherwise, but why the labels on the page header and not in the bin header (under the Bin # group label)?
Cheers,
Here you go.
The form was created using a wizard so I'm not sure why things are where they are.
Thanks.
I think you're good, you need to look at it in Print Preview mode to see the breaks, you were probably using Layout or Report View.
Cheers,
1 - select Bib # Header and in the All tab set the properties:
Unit Section Print -> No
Page break -> None
2 - select Detail and in the All tab set the properties:
Unit Section Print -> No
Page break -> None
3 - select Bin # Footer and in the All tab set the properties:
Unit Section Print -> No
Page break -> After section
now click on Print Preview and not Report view
That was it, looking at the wrong view.
Sorry for the extra hassle.
Thanks again.
No worries, an extra oair of eyes (almost) always helps !
Cheers,
Good morning.
After using this report for a few weeks I decided to use what I learned and reference a query rather than a table. Now I get a page break after each part number rather than bin number. I've played with it for a week or so and can't figure it out.
Here is the query and the report and the first page of the print preview. Any and all ideas welcome.
