Grouped Query Needs dates as columns, not rows

Via a group query, my output is this:
    Month Animal Count
    Jan Dog 2
    Jan Cat 3
    Jan Mouse 6
    Feb Dog 2
    Feb Mouse 8

I want the output to look like this:
    Animal Jan Feb
    Dog 2 2
    Cat 3
    Mouse 6 8

I just ran a crosstab query on top of the previous query results and it did what I needed, so self-resolved!
