When I try to create a new contact my form keeps setting customer number to 0 in table. Help

Customer Tracking.zipThe title pretty much says it all. I set the customerID to the ID from the Customer form, and that works great at bringing up the customer im looking at, but when i go to add a new contact it always sets the new contacts to a customer number of 0. Why is it doing that? What am i doing wrong.
    Thanks

Thanks. I was told to set the control to that value, I guess they meant the default value. Thanks a lot for the help
