    Tables to create combo boxes

Hello i have a problem decidig on how to do a combobox with certain options in it. one of those options i want to then have some other options but how to do it as some options would be blank.

I want a combobox to have the 1st set of options and say option "Unit" is chosen I then want another combobox to display more options e.g "Chassis","PSU" for example.

As I only want the options Chassis and PSU to be available when unit is selected only.

Is this possible in tables ?

Like do I have a tbl for unit and then relate that to another table which has the options in it with Unit as one of the options ?

Thank you for any help provided

In approx Jan to Mar/2002 I created a cascading combo box/list box example form in an attempt to try and learn about cascading combo boxes.

Look at the relationship window and the IDE - there is VBA code in my dB.

    Have fun tearing this apart.......
