    Subreports - Different

    Hi,
Let say I have 3 tables:
    - Time: containing employee name with hours
    - Expenses: containing amount and justification
    - Projects: containing a project name list for the above

If a have 2 projects, I am able to create a main report with 2 subreports where the information will be displayed :

    - Project 1 Time
    - Project 2 Time
    - Project 1 Expenses
    - Project 2 Expenses

What I am trying to achieve is:

    - Project 1 Time
    - Project 1 Expenses
    - Project 2 Time
    - Project 2 Expenses

Since each subreport do not contains the same column names, I must admit that I really don't know how to achieve this.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Since your post centers around subreports - then what you need to implement is the group/sort feature in reports. In your textbook you will need to look up the 'group & sort' feature for reports. This should give you exactly what you need.

If you haven't used it before - it can seem a little odd to implement at first (in my humble opinion). But it isn't really difficult - just not necessarily intuitive. That's why a textbook is needed to show you an example.

    Hope this helps.
