As the title states, I am relatively new to Access and have just been given a project with quick turn around time. Basically the following is what will be going on - or what they would like to happen:
1. Access assigns a task due in 5 days for leadership to assess processes.
a. automatically assign people to assess
b. different levels of management will assess at different intervals - ex. Sr. managers two month, Engineers 1 a week
c. send the tasks to Outlook
2. Assessment is entered into database
3. If needed, follow up actions are assigned
4. Follow up actions are tracked
Of course there will be reporting but I am more concerned with the initial setup right now. I intend to do my research and training but any advice to help speed this along since I am in a time crunch will be very much appreciated.
