    Database lookup on a form

I need some help. I'm trying to do a lookup against a table from a form. My goal is when a user enters the "Enrollee Jag Number" it performs a lookup in a table named "Faculty_Info" for the "LastName" of the individual with that Jag # and places it in a textbox on the form. I have created a textbox but cannot get the syntax right. My ultimate goal is to have it do a lookup for both the "FirstName" and "LastName" to ensure that the users are typing in the right number. I have attached a copy of the form for your reference. Version is Access 2016.

    Thanks in advance!

but cannot get the syntax right

what have you tried so far?

Have you considered using a combo box rather than a text box to enter the jag number? Then no coding required
