    Export the OLE object saved as PDF in a Table

    Haii..




    How to export the file which has been stored as Long Binary Data in a table (Data Type is mentioned as OLD Object) And i Want those file as pdf file. How to convert or export it. Any Idea

    I presume you mean save to a folder. AFAIK, the only way is via code using COM object because Access prepends meta data to your attachment and you don't want this data to be copied as part of the file. There are sample procedures available if you ask my friend Google. I'm not confident that the usual suspects in this forum have it handy as most of us don't use attachment fields in Access. Maybe I'm wrong about that because someone has done this export code for someone else.

    For export of OLEObject content, review http://www.lebans.com/oletodisk.htm

    I tested this once. Seem to remember could not get Package type to export.

    Converting files to PDF is another issue altogether.
