    Inconsistent access database

    Hello to everybody,
I have a problem with access database.
I have access applications in 2 stations that are connected to an access data base with a net.
After a short period of working with the application the database becomes corrupted and a messagebox shows that the
    database is in incosistent mode.

Can anyone help me to solve this problem , and another question : what do you think can be the reason/s of this error ?
It is very urgent for me.
    Thank you from advanced.
    Benjamin

please clarify your setup. Your Access database should be split into front end and back end, with each user having their own copy of the front end on their machine and the back end located on a shared area on the network.

Also googled your error and found this link which may be relevant - it implies a recent windows update

    Welcome to the forum.

This is a long shot, but......
    Another question: when you say
connected to an access data base with a net.
are you talking about a LAN or a WAN?

If you are using a WAN, you should read http://www.kallal.ca/Wan/Wans.html
Look for the heading "Why a does JET file share corrupt when the connection breaks?"

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
