Cascading ComboBox Not Working - *driving me crazy*

    Hi Everyone,

I believe this may be a simple fix but something I have been working on for a while and can't seem to find a solution.

I have a form that collects basic employee information.

When I select the Team ComboBox, I want the Position ComboBox to update the options based on the value of Team ComboBox.

I have added criteria to the Row Source of the Position ComboBox - [Forms]![Students/Employees]![Team] however I have now no values in the Position ComboBox to choose from.

I know I also need to add an After Update event to the Team ComboBox however I haven't added this yet as the Position ComboBox isn't working at all.

Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks in Advance,
    Cathal

For starters, the after update event of the team combo is requerying...the team combo. It should be requerying the position combo. Then the position combo's row source has the criteria on job title, should be on team.

Thank you so much, as you can tell I am a Newbie and I have been trying for ages to figure this out. couldn't even find any information online that talked me through how to set this up properly. I have tried to use this in so many instances and given up. I can't thank you enough, I can now learn from this and implement it in other forms!

    Thrilled!
