    Question Grouping not working

I have reached my limit with patience and this report....I have a report that is displaying information. All are text fields except for one date field. All I want to do is group by user ID so that it displays all the records for that user ID on one page, and the next user ID with all corresponding records on the second page. This is based on a single table and I did no sorting in the SQL statement. I select "Group & Sort" and click "Add Group". I then select "UserID" in the "Group On" box. I then select "Keep whole group together on one page". However, it only works part of the time! I will have two user IDs clumped together and then it will start page breaking again, then I will have two User IDs clumped together again....I am lost. Is there anywhere else to check that may be messing this group up?

right click on the group header ("userid header"), go to property->format, set "Force New Page" to "after section" or "before section" (i am not sure what is different, you may try). Then that is it.
