Try Reference to Microsoft Office 16 Object Library

Also, you must dim variables explicitly, otherwise they will be variant datatype.

Dim A as String, B as String, C as String OR
    Dim A as string
    Dim B as String

Its part of Microsoft Access 16.0 Object Library
Also suggest you replace the Microsoft DAO Object Library with the newer Microsoft Office 16.0 Access Database Engine Object Library

Omn a separate subject, I sent you two emails before Xmas. I would appreciate a reply.

    Thanks
I have sent two replies. The first just to confirm receipt & to say the second includes attached files.
You should have received both of these already

That's the address I've used each time and I actually replied to your email.
I also requested a delivery receipt for the second email which has come back to me. It definitely arrived at your end.
Have you checked your various deleted items folders?

Bizzare, definite not in my in box!! i am recieving mail from others, will it be because you have a capital letter D instead of d ?

Rest assured, last 5 emails are Microsoft Access Forums 19:00 2 Gumtree Ads 19;30 and Facebook notificaton, if you are recieing mine ok, i can send a snippet in the morning as this laptop is setup on my patners email so i will take snippets of all folders on @dmoses accounts and may even ring our IT provider.. try again without capital D ?

as far as db, our customers along with ourselves are making changes between last quarter and now although we are waiting updates from them to change what we need to do, so i have not ruled out a new system but too many changes happening at present, unsure of customer requirements and i am full of meeting this month and shop floor work as work has increased from last year, I am aware that you analysed the system and time required, please call our office tomorow between 10 and 11 if possible as I am in and out before and after that if we still don't recieve your mail
