    prediction

how do you remove "prediction" when encoding into a form? I have a combo box (limit to list), when i type into it, it would predict what i was going to enter. example would be if i would type the number 10 (not on the list), it would predict 101 (on the list). instead of giving me an error message of item not on list, it would accept 101.

    thanks in advance!

Try setting AutoExpand property to No.

You describe the behaviour of the control with certain properties, but I'm not sure I get what it is you want to happen. If you don't want the combo to find matching values as you type, turn off AutoExpand.

    EDIT
interesting how a prior post isn't there when you take 30 seconds to type an answer yet when it appears, the posted time is several minutes prior.
