    How to filter query results to only show those records that do not have an attachment?

    Hi,

    Some of my records have a file attachment and some do not.

    Every record that meets a certain criteria needs to have a file attachment, so I want to filter out all records that have a file attachment and to only show those records that do not have a file attachment.

    I tried Is Null and >1. It did not work. Did not find much online regarding this.

    Thank you everyone for the help!

    You are embedding files into table? Be aware Access has a 2GB file size limit and embedding files can quickly use this up.

    Attachment field is a type of multi-value field. https://support.office.com/en-us/art...4E1E323A#bm4_6

    SELECT * FROM table WHERE attachmentfield.FileName IS NULL;
