Attempting to change the same data error

I am getting the error "The Microsoft Access database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time."

I am the only one in the database because I am in the midst of creating it.

Do you know what could be causing the error? It happens when I'm in table, forms and reports.

This can happen when you have a table open as well as the form that updates the table. While both are open, if you update the table directly, and then try to update with the form, this can happen.

It can also happen if you have a form bound to a table that also has VBA code updating the same table.

If you find the problem, please post back here. We all like to file things like this away in case it comes up again.
