Incorrect Sum when exporting subreports to Excel

    Good morning!

I have 4 subreports within a report. Each of the subreports has a sum at the bottom in the report footer. It shows the correct value when I view it in Access, but when I export the report to Excel, the sum adds all the values from that field from the subreports above it. Please tell me if I'm not making sense....Excel converts the formula and makes it total not just that subreports data but all of the reports above it.
Oh and I must add, I am using Access 2003 on this particular report. Thanks!

The export of a report (or subreport) does not guarantee an exact working duplication in excel.

In terms of data into cells - it is generally correct; but formulas, text, images, etc are unpredictable.

I'm not sure there is a fix beyond manually tweaking your excel sheet.
