    Dropdown menus

In access 7 i can find no way of making a drop down menu. I want something that emulates the button found in most apps, eg:

    File,View,Customers....

With each of these menus having a drop down list. I thought of using a combo box with a list of commands, but i am not sure how to open a form from a command when i click said comand from the list in the combobox.

    Any ideas ?

I had a look but the "add ins" tab on the ribbon (see image 1) does not display on mine.

    It also states

    Important Note:
Remember that you cannot make any modifications to the menu bars and toolbars through the standard UI in 2007; the capability simply does not exist in Access 2007. You'll need to make these changes in an earlier Access version.
I am unsure how what they mean as i cannot open the DB in an earlier version of access
