Text box to fill fields in a table automatically

I created a text box in a form for user to enter date and I want it after the input to populate the field in a table automatically.

Please advise, I would need VBA and event trigger ?

Why not a form bound to that table and control bound to field? Otherwise, yes code in event procedure.

How do you do form bound ?
I did a code in event procedure but is not live. The form needs to be close and reopen to see the update populated. I like it to populate live.

    Please advise !

BOUND forms and controls is basic Access functionality. Set form RecordSource property and control ControlSource.
