    Often get no response from access

    I don't know if it's the good therm you use in english but when I'm in design mode and I go in form mode... access often freeze and I have to ctrl+alt+delete to close

    what could cause this ?

    It sounds like you may have some corruption. Have you tries to Compact and Repair? It is under OfficeIcon>Manage

    Yeah I tried it, and I can't recreat the whole db into a new one, the system is used by many users since the system took off tuesday with success but I have a hard time doing correction to the FE without him crashing in my face :P

    Does everyone have their *own* local copy of the FrontEnd? That is real important in a multi-user system

    And *your* copy crashes when you try and change it?

    Is this freeze up only on one form?
