Print view MySQL Database Install problems!

I try to install and connect the MySQL database, but with no success. Installation runs fine, I can start the Workbench, I see the database but when I try to connect to the database I have to enter a password, that I do not know. It seems to come from an old installation, where we have no more records about the PW used. What could I do? I do not need the data in the old database, is there a way to reset it?

    Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.

MySQL is extremely dependant on having the correct VC++ Runtimes. Reset the database? You mean like truncate all?
