Exporting report selected from a listbox to excel

I just joined AccessForums, and this is my first post.

I have a listbox on a form that shows all access reports in my database.

I want to be able to have someone select one of these reports, and hit a command button that will open the 'save as' window (or prompt for name and location to save to) to export the selected report as an excel document.

Basically it would be the same thing as opening the report and then going up to File: Export, but I don't want my users to be importing/exporting anything other than what is in the listbox.

Any suggestions as to how I could write this code?
    Thanks!

PS, I am using Access 2003

Given that you define yourself as a novice this might be a place to use the macro feature of access. Be sure you have a text book in the version you have, available at Amazon or any big box book store.

both macros and exports are topics covered in any textbook. once the macro is made - i.e. MacroExcelExport....then you can make a command button on your form and the wizard will allow you to select a macro as its action.
