I've got the data type set to Time/Date and the Properties of the date picker set to, 'Yes, for Dates' but it still doesn't appear in my table column.
How do you add it to a form? (Access 2007)
Thanks - rev

are you looking at a datasheet view? a actual table? is this in a form or a table?
(there are no date picker properties i don't think. just a form property that involves the picker)
First issue, tables:
I've been trying to add a date picker to a table column by making the data type 'Time/Date' and specifying 'Yes for Dates' in the design view of the table. No joy, doesn't appear.
Second issue, a form:
I'm creating an input form that needs a few date fields. I've successfully created an input formatting mask (which appears) but the date picker doesn't.
you cannot use a date picker in DESIGN view of a table. the purpose of it is to enter data. you don't do this in design view.
my guess is that masks and pickers do not mix. i would assume that the program doesn't allow the use of both. probably because pickers are programmed and a mask is specified from you and could be just about any format.
Agreed, but I'm not trying to use in Design View, I'm just trying everything I can think of to make it show up!
The Help says 'Access provides a date picker' - but doesn't explain when it's going to appear, i.e. under what circumstances, where/how you turn it off or on.
It *only* appears in a form next to a TextBox that is bound to a DateTime field when you run the form. No mask is needed when you use the DatePicker.
Thanks, I'll check it out.
Had the same problem, then removed input mask and it worked!
Yes, thanks for that.
