Access 2007 telephone directoory database

I built a directory in access that more then one person shares at work. So I have the back end on a shared drive. Some asked me if they could store some personal numbers in their front end that others who share the directory would not have access to. Is there a way of doing that? And could you also explained what tags r for?

The directory is for use Board of Election. It containes all the workers in all the boro's. Yes the more than one employee has the front end on their computer. I can't see the relationship in either of the databases. I have it before I seperated it and it doesn't show in relationship with the extensions of how they connect to each other. I took the database from the template and used the access template called "Contacts". Do you think there is a way that each of the seperate employees can add phone numbers to the front end without any one else seeing it?
