    label error

Why is there an error when you put a label on a form without associating it with a control?

I don't think the error does anything other than just annoy me with a little green arrow in the corner of the label, but is there a reason I should associate a label with a control? Can you have more than one label associated with a control?

    Yea...

No I don't think there's anything bad about it. In some cases you just need it for pretty.

You can turn off that error. In 2007 if you go to Access Options > Object Designers and then near the bottom you can uncheck "Check for unassociated labels and Controls" and "New Unassociated labels"

If you're not using 2007 just look around the options to find error checking.

Also you can probably hover over the little green triangle on your label, and then click the arrow and choose error checking options from there.
