    Enable a combo box for a new entry only


    I want to enable a combo box on a form for a new entry only. What's the best way to achieve this?

    If Me.NewRecord then
    'enable combo
    else
    'disable combo
    end if

    Only allow input to combobox on a New Record?

    Could use code in form Current event:

    Me.comboboxname.Enabled = Me.NewRecord

    In addition how to I allow copy from the the disabled combobox?

    Text cannot be selected. Could have button code grab the combobox value.
