    Query

I have an older DB that I am updating. Have to 2 numeric fields ([vendorinside] and [vendoroutside]) with a quantity of 1(this number can vary). When I try to total the two fields the result is eleven (11). the result should be two (2). what should the expression be to give me the total number of booths for the show. ie: booths: [wendorinside]+[vendoroutside].

    thans for a prompt response.

It sounds like your fields are Text fields and not Numeric. You might try booths: Val([wendorinside])+Val([vendoroutside]).
