    Select Query with Wt. % column and always return to 100% total.

    Hi,



    Pleas, anyone can help me in my Select Query that I made a 3rd column for wt.% and the total will always return to 100%. I want the query that will result as in the figure also in attached picture of select query.

    Department Amount Wt. %
    Civil Works 500,000.00 45.45
    Mechanical Works 350,000.00 31.82
    E&I Works 250,000.00 22.73
    Total 1,100,000.00 100.00

    where did you get the TOTAL field?
    you cant get the total as you are summing the total.

    make Q1 to get the total,
    then in Q2, add in Q1 with the data table and then do the calc.

    The Total is come from when i run the query. I just thought that i could use it as a field. Ok, I tried but it seems i missed something. thanks

    The total will come from a separate query, with the only record in the query being the total. Bring it in to this query and don't join it to anything.
