Build query that allows users to paste multiple values and return rows for each value in the query.

I have a pretty straight forward table that is populated with container IDs and their locations, used to track location of containers in various freezers. I want to allow users to paste a list of container IDs and return each container and its location in the query results. I cannot figure out an easy way to do this, and hope that one of you can help!

Paste the list where? In a query, or a form? What does the list look like? Presumably it is a character string, but what is the format?
I think what you want is possible, but you'll have to give us a more detailed explanation.

    Tks
