    Expr to Form and Table

    I am trying to get a Due_Date to automatically populate the Due_Date Field on a Form and Table. I have a working expression which returns a Due_Date 5 days from the Date_Received excluding weekends and holidays. The problem I'm having, is that I cannot get the results of the expression to populate the record on the Form or Table. I'm new to the forum, so if I make any Rookie mistakes, please be kind. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    am tempted to ask how you know you have "a working expression" if it doesn't populate the record....

    if indeed the expression works - the one would probably put it in the 'AfterUpdate' or 'OnExit' event of the DateReceived field; using something like this:
    Me.DueDate= YourExpression

    the expression in this requirement is DateDiff function...one can look that up in VB Help

    What I mean by working expression is that it works when used by itself in a select query.

    Thumbs up Thanks NTC

    Your response enlightened me to what I was doing wrong. I put the expression in my Date_Received text box and it returns the Due_Date in the Due_Date field. Thanks for the info.
